Mothering Sunday was somewhat unusual, to say the least! A lovely bouquet and cards were popped inside my doorway and two sons brought love and good wishes from a very safe distance...and the other two who live a distance away were on the phone with the little grandchildren.
The box of landscaping and odds and sods arrived for our young granddaughters and the first 'garden' is under way.
In our town young people are rallying round and we have already had five offers of whatever assistance we need - SO very kind and appreciated. Wherever you are I hope you are getting the same level of community support. And (say it quietly) the sun is shining!!!!!
Thank you for looking - take care
Robin

Despite all what is happeing nowadays, it's good to read that you had a lovely Mother's Day, Robin, you've even seen two of your sons! We all have to make the best out of it, isn't it ;)?
Great to see that your grandchildren are busy working in their miniature garden, it will cheer you up now.
I live in a village and here we have a good community who is looking after each other, but unfortunately the big cities are not the place to be if you're elder......
My only contact with my children and my grandson is by using Skype daily, but the fact that this IS possible nowadays, makes my day, just for seeing my grandson's sunny smile and hearing his voice, which says: "bye Granny bye bye" and a hand kiss with lots of blowing noises, what causes lots of saliva on our computer screens followed by lots of wondering and than giggles, what a lot of fun ;)!!
And yes, we too have the most beautiful weather there is: sun and no cloud in the sky, but it's quite cold and nightfrosts.....but I'm born in winter, so THAT'S something I LOVE most ;)!!
Stay safe and healthy, Robin!!
Warm hugs, Ilona
Besos.
