I'm sure that like many of you, I'm not feeling in the mood for writing 'cheery' blogs at the moment.
Sadness is all about us it seems in these last days and weeks, wherever we live. Be it close to home in saying final farewells to friends or family members or watching tragic events on the rolling news broadcasts - many, many people grieve. I hope that time and the support and love of those close to you will bring some small measure of comfort.

I share your feelings . Now is not the time for much cheer.
Love to you and all you care for.

I disagree completely. Grieving is just fine and everyone does it in their own way. However, cheer is always welcome in our lives. I am not talking belly laughs, jokes or crazy things but a smile always helps. Not much we can do to change world events but not watching for awhile could help.
I hope the quiet time working in the garden can help. I find, personally, that keeping myself busy and my occupied is a great help.
All the best to you,
Donna

Very well timed comment as, the day you posted it, I found out that my young friend had lost her battle with cancer just 2 days before. :(
Sad, but true, that not all of life is happy, or even neutral.
I did so appreciate all your comments - thank you so much - I find myself agreeing with you all.
